AUDIT OBJECTIVES1) To assess the effectiveness of the risk management process;2) To ensure that the District is in compliance with established policies and regulatory requirements related to risk management;3) To determine that adequate procedures have been developed to identify and analyze risks and implement processes to decrease exposure and monitor progress.4) To ensure that insurance coverage is adequate to compensate for identified risks;5) To determine whether insurance coverage is cost-effective; and,6) To ensure that procedures for reporting incidents and making claims are adequate and functioning as intended
