AUDIT OBJECTIVES
1) Determine that sufficient controls exist over athletic ticket sales, and ensure that gate receipts are adequately safeguarded and reconciled.
2) Ensure that athletic facility use and rentals are managed in accordance with District policy.
3) Determine that policies and procedures regarding athletic activity fees are being correctly followed.
4) Ensure that payments to athletic events officials adhere to established guidelines.
5) Assess the effectiveness of the Athletic Secretary position.
6) Ensure that Athletic Department purchases are conducted in accordance with District policy.
7) Verify the adequacy of controls over athletic equipment and supplies.
