FIRST AUDIT AND ASSURANCE SOFTWARE EXPO MATERIALS AVAILABLE ONLINE FOR FREE

 

Now that the March 11 all-day event "Making Sense of Audit and Assurance Software In The SarbOx Environment" has ended, the North Jersey Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors has collected all of the content and placed it in a website for anyone to download for free.  It was the first expo of its kind, bringing together the leading audit and assurance software vendors from around the world.  The expo was geared to auditors and financial analysts looking to:

>>View the entire landscape of audit software products through practical presentations by over twenty leading software vendors.

>>Gain new ideas and practical tools on how to maximize audit and assurance software.

>>Obtain information on each product and the product category to assist in any vendor selection process.

>>Network with peers on the challenges and opportunities these categories present.

The market is awash in software to help auditors meet their respective challenges, especially in light of new regulations.  We hope to help auditors sort through the solutions with an expo devoted to the benefits of key software categories and by providing practical tools for attendees, notes Jacqueline Breslauer, the Chapter President.  "We had such a successful event with over 200 participants and I just hope that, through the Web, that more audit professionals can use it for their own needs and pass it along to their colleagues as everything is free to download," states Rich Lanza, Conference Chair for the event.
