AuditNet® Web Site Navigation Guide

Google
  Web www.auditnet.org

I often hear from visitors to the site that they have difficulty finding information on the Web site. So I thought I would provide a short article on navigating the AuditNet site. The home page is the gateway to information contained within AuditNet. Many times visitors are pointed to a page other than the home page as a result of a Google search. I always recommend that users start from the home page. From there you will find a link to the Audit Programs page (the most visited page after the home page). There you will find over 1,000 audit programs shared by AuditNet users. (There is also a special collection of audit programs that are available to subscribers). The next link is the Sarbanes-Oxley Audit Resource Center where you will find corporate governance and SarbOx resources, tools and links. The next link is the AuditNet Links page where you will find links to over 1,300 audit related link sites. Next is the AuditNet Library where you will find a wealth of resources, tools and links to all of the information on AuditNet based on categories. This page is often missed by most visitors and in many cases can answer specific audit related queries. The AuditNet newsletter link is next which connects you to both the current and prior newsletters. The Audit Jobs page is specifically designed for those auditors seeking employments as it provides current AuditNet featured jobs, career advice and more. The Policy and Procedure section is new and is meant to function like the audit programs page by encouraging auditors to share policies and procedures from their organizations for the benefit of all. The Partner Discount page highlights vendors that have agreed to a discount on their goods and services to AuditNet users. The Search page follows which is a means to search either the AuditNet site or the Web using Google, the most powerful search engine available. From this page you can launch an AuditNet site specific search for audit information. If it is on AuditNet you will find it by using the Google site search.

I hope that this helps all those AuditNet visitors that ask the perennial question: “Where can I find…?”

Until next month!
