Announces 2013 Pricing Changes for Access to Audit
Programs
AuditNet® has been offering access to audit programs since 1995. In 2005, after 10 years of free and unrestricted access, a registration login system was implemented to monitor and control access. A bi-level system was established providing most users with free access to over 1,300 audit programs (Level 1) and an option to upgrade to a subscription for access to over an additional 300 audit programs (Level 2). Since 2005, over 100,000 auditors have registered to access the audit programs section of AuditNet®.
AuditNet® announced new subscription rates and a new option for subscribers including CPE. Subscription rates for individuals will increase on January 1, 2013 by $10 to $150 a year. The group user rate will increase from $275 to $300 for 5 users and from $550 to $600 for up to 10 users. Rates for basic users were raised on July 1, 2012 and will remain $24 a year when the premium rates increase. The last time AuditNet® increased rates was January 1, 2011 and we have increased the inventory of audit templates, programs and monographs by more than 10%. In addition AuditNet® is building a script library for data analysis software including ACL, IdeaScripts and Excel macros that will be available to premium subscribers.
There will be a new option for subscribers who also need CPE. In
addition to the premium level subscription auditors will now be able
to include CPE training options with their subscriptions.
Premium Subscription plus any one Training without Travel
Webinars (maximum 2 CPE) for $150 Premium subscribers will also be
able to attend one Webinar in which AuditNet® is providing NASBA CPE.

In addition AuditNet® is working on the following:
Converting AuditNet® audit programs for core business functions
by adding data analysis steps to create the first data analytics
enabled audit program library for auditors. The 2012 survey on the
Audit Use of Technology clearly identified that in order for
auditors to move the bar on the Audit Use of Technology Optimization
Scale they need simple solutions. The availability of data analytic
enabled audit programs in an easily understood format will
facilitate and encourage non-technical auditors to apply technology
solutions to the audit process.
A new Website focused on Resources for Fighting Fraud in the
Workplace. This site will promote a pro-active approach to detecting
and preventing fraud before it has a major impact on companies.
Resources planned for the site include an article library, templates
with fraud schemes, red flags, audit steps including data analytic
tests and Webinars focused on detecting, preventing and auditing
fraud using data analysis. Live Webinars scheduled monthly offering
CPE using group internet based training and recorded Webinars with
no CPE.
