D. ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTABLE EMAIL DOMAINS AND PAYMENT

A. INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTERING

1. COMPLETE the registration for the registration login system (www.auditnet.org/subscribers/register.asp). When you get to the payment screen select the free option to gain access to the free audit programs. Access to the premium content requires payment. (If you terminate the process before selecting either free access or premium access your registration will be suspended and deleted from the system).

2. Assuming that you used a valid email address which can be delivered to your email client you will receive an email with a subject of SITE ACCESS DETAILS. (if your organization blocks emails with URLs included then you will not receive the confirmation email or if you make a mistake in your email address (which a lot of auditors do) you will never receive the confirmation email)

3. The confirmation email has a URL which you must click on to authenticate your email address and registration. Clicking on the URL takes you to the login page and you must enter your password and then click on LOGIN.

4. If you get an error message then it is most likely due to the fact that the URL would not fit on one line in your email client. In that case you must copy the complete URL including the portion that truncated and paste the result in your browser and click on GO.
Following are the main reasons that auditors do not get authenticated:

  • Terminating the registration process before completing and selecting free or premium access.
  • Your organization blocks emails with URLs
  • Misspelled email address
  • Closed or non-existent email account with Yahoo, Hotmail, GMail etc.
  • Duplicate registration (if you register with more than one username (same email address) your registration will be deleted.

B. LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS

Once you have completed the registration process you have access to the free (or premium) audit programs section. The following are the instructions for logging in to view the programs.

1. Go to the LOGIN page at www.auditnet.org/subscribers/login.asp

2. Enter your username (email address or other unique username)

3. Enter your password

4. Click on LOGIN. (Do not click on register as that will take you to the REGISTRATION PAGE and put you in a loop).

5. After clicking on LOGIN you are immediately re-directed to the page containing the audit programs. Scroll down the page and you will see the hyperlinks for each of the programs.
