REGISTRATIONS PROBLEMS
Q;
I registered for a 30 day trial subscription but it was never activated
and it appears that it is now gone. Why?
A;
There are various reasons why some subscriptions are not activated.
If you use a fake name or fake company your registration is deleted. If
you use profanity or vulgar language for your username, password or
company your registration is deleted. If you try to set up multiple
registrations using different emails your registration is deleted. Every
user is entitled to one free 30 day trial using a valid name and
company. Multiple registrations using free email accounts such as Yahoo,
Hotmail, Gmail etc will be expired and you will be denied access to the
system until you subscribe at which time all duplicate email addresses
will be purged from the system.
Q;
I had a trial before and would like to sign up for another trial. Is
that possible?
A;
If you had a trial subscription before then you are not eligible for
a trial under a duplicate name.
LOGIN ASSISTANCE (PAID SUBSCRIBERS AND UPGRADES)
Q;
How do I access the audit work programs now that I have paid the
subscription fee?
A; Subscriptions for new registrations are usually automatically
authenticated and access is immediate. If you are unable to login after
paying the subscription fee it could be due to the fact that the Web
administrator has not received notification of the payment. As soon as
payment notification is received the Web administrator will update the
access and send the login details to the registered user.
Login as follows:
Go to www.auditnet.org
Click on Audit Programs Login
Enter Username (email address or registered username) in Login Box
Enter Password in Password Box
Click on Login (do not click on Register as that will return you to the registration page)
You are immediately redirected to the AuditNet Subscriber page containing all the premium audit programs.
Q; How do I register or subscribe to the AuditNet
Audit Programs?
A; INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTERING FOR ACCESS TO THE AUDIT
PROGRAMS
1. COMPLETE the registration for the registration login system (www.auditnet.org/subscribers/register.asp).
When you get to the payment screen select the 30 day free trial option to gain access to
the Basic Level 1 audit programs. After your free trial expires you will
have to pay for access to either the Basic Level 1 or the Premium Level
2 content.
2. Assuming that you used a valid email address which can be delivered to
your email client you will receive an email with a subject of SITE ACCESS
DETAILS. (if your organization blocks emails with URLs included then you
will not receive the confirmation email or if you make a mistake in your
email address (which a lot of auditors do) you will never receive the
confirmation email)
3. The confirmation email has a URL which you must click on to
authenticate your email address and registration. Clicking on the URL takes
you to the login page and you must enter your password and then click on
LOGIN.
4. If you get an error message then it is most likely due to the fact
that the URL would not fit on one line in your email client. In that case
you must copy the complete URL including the portion that truncated and
paste the result in your browser and click on GO.
Following are the main reasons that auditors do not get authenticated:
- Terminating the registration process before completing and selecting
free or premium access.
- Your organization blocks emails with URLs
- Misspelled email address
- Closed or non-existent email account with Yahoo, Hotmail, GMail etc.
- Duplicate registration (if you register with more than one username (same email address) your registration will be deleted.
Q; I registered for access to the free trial and
responded to the authentication email however, I cannot access the site as
it states my registration was not found. Please advise.
A; The most likely reason is that you did not promptly
authenticate your registration by responding to the system generated email.
Registrations not promptly authenticated are deleted from the database and
you will need to re-register.
Q; I have registered in the login system but each
time after entering my username and password I click on Audit Programs in
the left navigation column I am returned to the login page. Why is this
happening?
A; After entering your username and password you are
taken directly to the audit programs page and need to scroll down to see
the list of programs. DO NOT CLICK ON AUDIT PROGRAMS in the left
navigation column.
Q; I signed up for access to AuditNet Audit Programs using a free
email account but I never received the authentication email. How can I get
access?
A; If you signed up using a free email such as Yahoo or Hotmail but your the
account was closed or your mailbox is full then your AuditNet registration
will be deleted from the system. If you enter an incorrect email address
then it will be returned to the administrator as undeliverable. When a
user's authentication email is undeliverable I delete those
registrations from the system. Auditors registering for access to the audit
programs are responsible for entering a valid address (no closed accounts or
misspellings).
Q; I never received the authentication email with site access details.
Why?
A; We use an automated system that will send you an acknowledgment email
in a few seconds after registering. If you do not receive this message,
you will also not receive site access details. There could be two reasons
for this issue: 1) the email that you entered during the registration
process has an error or 2) your email software or internet provider has
blocked our mail with a spam filter, which will require you to add
AuditNet to your safe address list.
Q; My company's email program is set up to block emails sent from some
servers (Web hosts) or I have a spam filter on my email server. Is there any way to
manually authenticate my access to the audit programs?
A; Emails blocked by a spam filter or corporate filter are returned as
undeliverable and the registration is immediately deleted from the system.
Registrations for access to the free audit programs will not be manually
authenticated under any circumstances.
Q; I registered for access to the free trial but I never
received the authentication email. Why?
A; You must register with a valid email address where the authentication
email will be sent. If you use an alias address you will not be able to
authenticate your account.
Q; I have completed the registration process and
have not received the confirmation email to activate the account. What is
the reason?
A; When you use an email address to register for access to
the free programs it must be a valid AND CORRECT email address on a server that you use.
You must be able to log in to that server and check your email. If you use a
free service such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail etc you will need to login to
that mail server and respond to the authentication email. If you do not log
in and respond to the authentication email your account will not be
activated and you will not be able to access the free audit programs.
Accounts not activated within 1 hour are deleted requiring you to complete
the entire registration process again. Accounts with misspelled emails
addresses such as YAHOOO.com, HOTMIAL.COM or other typos are deleted
immediately.
Q; I have registered for access to the free trial. When I try to log in it says my account has not been activated.
Why has my account not been activated?
A; When you first register, an e-mail activation link is
sent to your registered e-mail address. You must access the web the first time
with this link to activate the account. This guarantees an e-mail address
that is correct. If you enter an incorrect email address then your account
will not be activated and it will be deleted from the database.
Q; I wish to access the audit programs on Sarbanes
on the site but they are in blue. Can I access them or not? What do I have
to do to get them?
A; You cannot access those programs directly from the
Sarbanes-Oxley Audit Resource Center page or the free audit programs page.
Those audit programs are premium content and are available on a one for one
exchange or to paid subscribers.
Q; I have paid for a subscription to access the
Sarbanes-Oxley programs but when I go to the Sarbanes-Oxley page I can
download any of them. How do I download the programs?
A; You must login to the registration system. If you are a
paid subscriber then you are taken directly to the page containing the links
to the Sarbanes-Oxley audit programs. The URL is
www.auditnet.org/subscribers/subcribersaccess.asp. You will not be able
to download programs from www.auditnet.org/sarbox.htm
Q; I have registered for the free trial but see that some of the programs do not have a hyperlink. How can I access
those programs?
A; Audit programs without a hyperlink are only available
to subscribers to the premium content. You will need to pay the annual
subscriber fee to upgrade for access. There is a link to upgrade to the
premium content available for registered users from the free audit programs
page.
Q; I was trying to access the free
trial Basic Level audit programs. I registered but when I log in it is telling me that my account
has not been activated. Can you help?
A; Following
are the steps for registering and activating your free access account. (If
you do not follow these steps you will not be able to download any of the
free audit programs).
Step 1 Complete the
registration form
Step 2 Select the 30 day free trial on the screen

Step 3 You will be taken to the Registration Success Page
AuditNet® Registration Success Page
Thanks for registering for the Audit Programs Annual Subscription
Service. In order to complete the registration process the AuditNet
Administrator needs to authenticate your status. This means that you have
made your payment via PayPal and used a valid e-mail address. Once your
account has been authenticated your account will be activated and you will
be able to login and be taken directly to the inventory of audit programs
available only to subscribers. You will also have access to several e-books
and the "in the queue" audit programs a month before they are available to
other AuditNet visitors.
Activating your account may take anywhere from 5 minutes to 24 hours
depending on when and where you subscribe. Click here for the login page and
remember to bookmark it.
If you have any comments or need to get in touch with the Administrator
Thanks again for your continued support!
Step 4 Go to your email account used for your registration and open
the email with the Subject: Site Access Details and click on the URL to
enable your account
Hello Your Name,
Thank you for registering with us!
Here are your login details.
Username = your email address
Password = your password
To enable your account, you will need to login here :
http://www.auditnet.org/Subscribers/login.asp
Welcome aboard,
The Team
Step 5 Go to the AuditNet Login Page and you should now have
access to the Free Trial
Step 6 If you have not completed all the above steps then your
account is not activated and you will not have access.
Q; I am caught in a loop and cannot login. Each time I enter my
username and password but I am returned to the registration page. Please
help!!
A; When you go to the Subscriber Login page you must enter your username and
password. After entering your password click on login (not register) and you
will be taken to the free audit programs page. If you click on register, you
will be taken to the registration page rather than the free audit programs.
Q; I just registered w/ your web site and it is not allowing me
access. Am I doing something wrong? I am getting the following error
messages. I did everything the instructions directed me too.
- Sorry, your details were not found.
Please check and try again.
You need to be authenticated first.
Please enter via the URL sent to you by e-mail.
A; If you get the above message it means that you did not
respond to the email sent to your email address. If you registered with your
company email address then open your mailbox and respond to the email with
the subject "Site Access Details". If you registered with a free account
such as Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Gmail etc. then you need to open that account
immediately
and find the email with the above subject. Failure to authenticate your
account means that you will not be able to access the free audit programs
section. Accounts not authenticated within one
hour are deleted from the registration system which means that you will have to
re-register.
Q; I have registered in the login system for
access to the free trial but cannot login. What is causing this?
A; If you do not complete the registration process to the
point of selecting the free option your registration will not be activated
and you will not be able to login.
You must use a valid email address for your username or your account will not be activated. Accounts that are not active are deleted from the database.
Q; Is there any way to change my username or
password?
A; Yes you have the option of changing your username or
password but
you must have a valid email address. Login and then click on Registration
Update. Alternatively you can send an email to
info @ auditnet.org and request a change.
Q; I purchased a multi-user subscription and paid
the fee. How do I register the other users so that they have access to the
premium content?
A; Upon receipt of payment you will receive an email
with instructions on setting up a group username and password. Once that
is set up you can provide the login information to your users.
Q;
How do I pay for a new subscription?
A;
There are two methods for paying for a subscription. If you have not
registered in the AuditNet Registration Login System (ARLS) then you
should complete the registration process and the last step provides you
with the options including subscribing (and paying via our merchant
account). We accept credit card payments (VISA, MasterCard, American
Express and Discover). We also accept wire transfers and check payments
for premium and groups with certain restrictions. You can make credit
card payments (using PayPal) or send direct payments via PayPal to
auditnet@gmail.com. If you would like to pay by wire transfer or
check then you need to contact us directly by sending an email to
auditnet@gmail.com. We also accept credit card payments over the phone
using our toll free number in the U.S. or our office number for those
outside the U.S. Phone number will be provided by contacting us via
email.
Q;
How do I pay to renew my expired subscription?
A;
If your subscription has expired (30 day trial or otherwise) go to the
login page at
http://www.auditnet.org/subscribers/login.asp and enter your
username and password. You will receive a prompt that you are expired
and it will provide the options for paying to either subscribe or renew
your subscription. You will not be able to access until the payment has
been made, we receive notification of receipt of payment and have
updated your account. NOTE: you will not have access immediately as this
is a manual process to update - so if you make your payment at a time
when we are not in the office there may be a delay. Rest assured that
all renewals and subscriptions will be activated within 4 hours of
payment.
Q;
I previously had a 30 day trial which has expired but I now want to
subscribe. What is the process for paying for a new subscription using
the same email and information used in the free trial?
A;
Q; I registered paid for access to the premium
content over a year ago and successfully logged in. When I recently tried to log
in with my username and password I received a message that my subscription
expired. How do I renew my subscription?
A; When you login to an expired account you are provided
an option to pay for renewal. Upon payment your access will re reinstated
(there may be a time delay between payment and reactivation).
Q;
The country I live in is not listed in the drop
down menu for PayPal payment for premium services. How do I subscribe for
premium services?
A; If your country is not supported for PayPal payments
then you may pay by check. Send your payment in U.S. dollars payable to
AuditNet to P.O. Box 452, Oakton, VA 22124 U.S.A. You must include your
email address along with your check. Upon receipt of your payment I will
upgrade your access to the premium content.
Q; I want to pay for a subscription with a credit
card but do not have a PayPal account. How can I pay by credit card?
A; We can send out an invoice to pay by credit card or
take your credit card payment over the phone. Payment by check is also
allowed however account access is not granted until the check is
received.
Q; I want to subscribe to the premium content but
when I go to PayPal it does not list my country. How can I pay for a
subscription if PayPal does not include my country ?
A; Unfortunately I have no control over what countries
PayPal supports. Your only option is to pay by check in U.S. funds from
a U.S. bank or bank branch. Checks drawn on foreign banks cannot be
processed for less than $200 and additional fees and bank charges will
be added to the payment.
Q; I would like to subscribe to the premium content
and pay by bank transfer. Does AuditNet accept bank transfers?
A; AuditNet does accept bank transfers however there are
extra fees and bank charges added to the subscription amount.
Q; Is there any way to order this service without
using PayPal? That requires me to use my personal account which I don’t
like doing for business.
A; You also have the option of paying by check. Send your
check payable in U.S. funds to AuditNet to P.O. Box 452, Oakton, VA 22124. You must
include a note with your registered email address. Upon receipt of the
payment I will upgrade your access level.
Q; I never received an authentication email with the
URL to activate my free subscription. Why?
A; The most likely reason for not receiving the
authentication email is an incorrect email address. If you enter an
incorrect email address then the authentication email will be undeliverable.
All authentication emails that are undeliverable result in the registration
being deleted from the database requiring you to start over from the
beginning.
Q; I have registered for the access to the Audit
Programs and would like to update my registration information. How do I
update my registration information?
A; After logging in to the free audit audit programs or
the premium content there is a link available for updating your
registration. Registration updates are only available after logging in with
your current registration information.
Q; I have registered in the login system under two
different domains (i.e. gmail.com, hotmail.com, yahoo.com etc). Why is one
of these registrations not working?
A; If I find that you have registered twice in the system
I delete one of the registrations.
Q; I have registered for the free programs and would now like to
upgrade to the premium content. How do I do this?
A; It is very easy to upgrade. Login to the free section using your username
and password. Look for the "PayPal Click Here to Pay" button. This is the
method of paying for an upgrade.
Q; I have paid for an upgrade but still do not have access to the
premium content. How long will it take for my access to be granted?
A; The upgrade process requires manual activation by the site
administrator. Activation and access is not immediate and may be subject
to a time delay based on receipt of payment notification. Upgraded
accounts are activated between 9 am and 5 pm eastern standard time.
