customers information and support to execute the audit plan more
productively and leverage their technology investment to deliver greater
value to the organization.
"AuditNet® was developed to help internal audit teams network and share
relevant resources and best practices with their peers," said Jim
Kaplan, founder and CEO, AuditNet®. "Today, internal auditors are
facing a skills gap as they adopt new practices and technologies to meet
their shifting role and help manage risk in today's volatile business
climate. Through our partnership with ACL, we are working to fill this
need."
Through this agreement, all members of audit teams with ACL premium
support can easily tap into the resources on AuditNet®, including:
• Access to over 2,000 audit work programs, a monthly newsletter, a
resource list containing over 1,200 online audit resources and
vertically-based user-populated content
• A large inventory of audit work programs in text, Word (delete,)
and PDF formats that users can freely use and modify within their

and numerous other resources
"Internal resource constraints often make it difficult to quickly
implement processes that take advantage of technologies to automate
activities and gain more comprehensive, continuous insights into the
control environment," said John Verver, Vice
president,
services and
product
strategy, ACL
Services Ltd. "In combination with ACL's new AuditExchange platform,
the wealth of resources and advice in the AuditNet® network will give
our customers a leg up to plan and execute technology-enabled audits
more effectively."
Introduced in September 2009, the
ACL AuditExchange™ 2.0 business assurance platform helps internal
audit teams streamline and automate processes with centralized audit
content management, turnkey analytic tests (delete,)
and exceptions tracking and escalation.
